The current project for Handmade with Purpose is Hurricane Sandy relief efforts (November & December 2012).
Handmade with Purpose is not a non-profit organization. We will never ask for money from supporters. HWP simply serves as a central location to promote blogs and shops who are donating money to charities/non-profits through selling of goods/services. HWP requires participating bloggers/shop owners to meet fundraising approval before being associated with the project.
If you are an Etsy shop owner remember you have to have approval from the Red Cross before advertising you are donating proceeds to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
