There is strength in community. We support one another in the blogging and handmade community. We have found when we come together for a common purpose there is a large positive response, and we reach more people.
Why the Red Cross?
The Red Cross is our charity of choice for the November 2012 project because it is a trusted, established non-profit organization active in the Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts.
We have many bloggers, handmade shop owners, and customers who have been affected. By choosing to donate a portion of proceeds from our blog sponsorships and shop profits we are able to give to those in need through the Red Cross.
